Linking resources, developing careers
The Department of Advanced Training and Advisory Services (DATAS) facilitates the Human Capital Development Policy for Tobago through the Tobago House of Assembly's Financial Assistance Programme.
DATAS is responsible for administering bursaries, grants and other educational support opportunities to residents of Tobago who wish to pursue, or are currently pursuing, tertiary and post-secondary education.
To decrease financial barriers to tertiary education experienced by residents of Tobago.
DATAS provides two primary forms of financial assistance to eligible residents of Tobago pursuing tertiary and post-secondary education. Select the programme that best matches your course of study.
Financial assistance awarded based on the need and/or merit of applicants pursuing approved programmes with a duration of more than one year.
Limited financial assistance for eligible individuals pursuing programmes that are one year or less in duration and cannot be accommodated within the parameters of the Bursary Programme.
Explore current national bursaries, scholarships and other educational opportunities available to eligible applicants.
Meet some of the individuals whose educational journeys have been supported through DATAS grants and bursaries.
Review the Bursary and Grant programmes above and submit your application online. If you need assistance determining which programme is suitable for you, contact the DATAS team.
